Track Record
- While employed by the largest mining services provider in Australia, Rob was tasked with the mobilisation of key projects across WA and NT. During his tenure, Rob mobilised 5 projects with up to 300 persons on each including associated fleet mining machinery for both surface and underground
- In a previous site-based role, Rob was presented with the problem of trying to reduce the site Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR). Rob reviewed existing incident classification methods and discovered inconsistencies in how they were applied, changing the processes and procedures to be prescriptive allowed a more consistent approach to injury classification
- Rob was tasked with finding an engineering solution for several fatigue/distraction related events on mobile equipment during hauling operations. Rob was able to source an in-cab monitoring solution that relied upon the measurement of facial landmarks from an operator facing camera to identify early fatigue
- After a significant event at a processing plant in the Goldfields, Rob facilitated and delivered expert knowledge and implemented systems for safe confined space entry. Rob oversaw the improvements that were required which included a requirement to risk assess all confined space inherent risks, design safe entry methods and to ensure that adequate facility was provided for the rescue of personnel from confined spaces
