With 30 years of experience in the resources industry, Anold has worked in both open cut and underground hard rock mines in Australia and Zimbabwe.

With his extensive experience in leadership, operational and technical roles, Anold provides practical and robust mine plans across the short, medium, and long-term planning space. He has a breadth and depth of knowledge in generating ore reserves, creating conceptual mine designs, mine scheduling, drill and blast as well as ensuring that mine plans/schedules are on time and on budget.

Track Record

  • Anold was the Technical Services Superintendent Pajingo Au mine QLD Australia across open pit and underground, responsible for short/medium/long term planning and budgeting, reserve preparation and all technical services functions; mine planning, survey, geotechnical, ventilation and continuous improvement.
  • He recently completed studies including the Wyloo GMN mining block review (which increased ore recovery and offered the site more schedule flexibility). He was also involved in Corozon, Lynn Lake Project mine design, scheduling, and cost estimates for project evaluation, which allowed weigh-in of development options. Anold also was involved with Curragh Coal mine dig, dump designs and reserves and George Fisher (zinc, lead, and silver) underground QLD Australia.
  • He has held senior mine planning roles in operations, long-term planning, and feasibility studies. Anold has undertaken reserve conversion for both the existing mine and the expansion. On the expansion study, he covered ventilation design, access and materials handling design, LOM scheduling and cost modelling. This included the mining feasibility report and tender compilation. On existing mine operations, he covered medium and long-term design/scheduling and cut-off determination.
  • At Rasp (zinc, lead, and silver) underground mine in NSW, he held senior mine planning roles through medium/ long-term planning, scheduling, budgeting, reserve conversion, production planning, drill & blast design, ventilation management and capital projects.
  • At Tritton underground (copper) underground mine NSW, Anold has held senior mine planning and drill & blast roles, covering reserve conversion, short term and LOM design, scheduling, greenfields evaluation studies, budgeting, ventilation, backfill and drill & blast planning, Hillgrove (gold) underground NSW, Thalanga (copper, lead, zinc, silver and gold) underground QLD and CSA (copper) underground NSW and South Dyke (chromium) underground, Peak (chromium) underground and Harley Pt underground in Zimbabwe. He has software experience with MineSight, Deswik, Mineworks, Vulcan, Surpac, Ring King.
