Track Record
- Greg has been responsible for the design work, installation, overhaul, commissioning and asset management of numerous high voltage power distribution networks of switchyards and interconnecting transmission lines. This includes the navigation of the permitting process, involving local council approvals, regulatory agency permits, and environmental impact assessments.
- At Hunter Valley Operations coal mine, Greg created a Budget Attainably Risk Assessment (BARA) to provide guidance for the development, implementation and revision of Equipment Strategies for the Life of Mine (LOM). This aligns operational and capital needs to business outcomes.
- While at Liddell Coal Operations, he held statutory responsibility for developing, supervising, monitoring, and reviewing electrical engineering standards and procedures across mining operations. Greg drove improvements in asset performance metrics including MTTFFR, MTTF, and MTTR, significantly enhancing equipment availability and reducing rework through higher standards.
- In preparation of local mine closures, he has proactively updated procedures to support contract labour continuity and instigated the Change Management process to safely decommission and dispose of unused plant and equipment ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant asset lifecycle management.
- Greg holds a Certificate of Competence – Electrical Engineer (Coal mines other than underground coal), and a current Practicing Certificate as issued by the Chief Inspector (mines) regional NSW Government.
